My Game Cache ("we", "our", or "us") operates https://www.mygamecache.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
When you register or sign in, we collect your email address and display name. If you use a third-party login (Google, Steam, Microsoft, or PlayStation), we receive basic profile information from that provider as permitted by your settings with them.
To sync your game libraries we store authentication tokens for connected platforms (Steam, Xbox / Microsoft, PlayStation Network, Epic Games, and GOG). These tokens are stored encrypted in our database and are used solely to retrieve your game library on your behalf. We do not store your platform passwords.
We store the list of games associated with your connected accounts, including titles, platform identifiers, playtime (where available), and cover art URLs sourced from public game databases (IGDB, RAWG).
We collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for security monitoring and service improvement and is not sold or shared with advertisers.
We do not sell your personal data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as described in Section 3.

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We choose providers that meet industry security standards and only share the minimum data necessary for each function.
We retain your account and library data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete all associated personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Platform authentication tokens are removed immediately when you disconnect a platform or delete your account.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: HTTPS/TLS in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive tokens, strict HTTP security headers, rate limiting on all authentication endpoints, and access controls limiting database access to application infrastructure only. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we take reasonable precautions.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
My Game Cache is hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the Service you consent to this transfer. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this policy regardless of where it is processed.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
